Unfortunately, I am currently repairing a blown head gasket so the car is down at the present time. When I am finished with the repair, I intend to give a detailed description of the car with a lot of pictures.
I did not build the car, but I have made many modifications. The original project was done be Hans Moritz and his adviser/mechanic Daniel Wennerberg. Hans is the chief designer at Oakley Sunglasses. This car was his dream and no expense was spared. It is truly first class. He dynoed it at 340 HP to the wheels. The weight was 2807 lbs. at the time. Since he weighed it, carbon racing seats and a carbon hood have been installed. RC injectors, tuned headers, after cooler reservoir, and supercharger rebuild have been done since the dyno. The modification list is much too long to give here.
This car is unbelievably fast. Its handling is superb. I can not imagine a car that is balanced better. I have yet to find its limits. After a spirited drive, I can't wipe the grin off my face for 2 hours! Much more to come...  |
