Just picked up an e34 Touring

From Itsnotme1988. Left Buffalo NY at 10am Friday, got to Bailey, NC friday night, turned around and got back home 1pm Saturday (and proceeded to a track day in Toronto.)







I also have a ton of parts sitting here or on order for it, including:

I'm planning on doing a 5 speed trans swap in the next couple weeks too, but I'm still sourcing parts. I'm also going to shadowline the chrome trim and get some light tint. The car needs a ton of work, but for the price with a strong engine in a touring you cant beat it.

I also have an SC61 sitting here waiting to go on it... but that likely wont be till next spring, busy working on the motor for the pcar with the T67.

Guess now that I have another bimmer daily I'll start posting here again with updates on the car. This will be my new rally vehicle for AKA Rally '07 this year.

Small update,


Dropped, but not all the suspension together so it's all coming back apart anyway, waiting on a few more parts.


Interior coming apart nicely, located a set of rare modena vaders (oddly Upperguy and I found the same set and I msg'd him and he called me about the same set haha) I may purchase, hoping to get the dash out and swapped next week, depending on if I go with modena carpet or black carpet.

It's out being caged right now, should be on the track by mid June. Meanwhile I'm working on the new turbo motor for it which is just going to be stupid. (8k RPM redline, 2.6L Sleeved, semi closed deck, custom everything, T67)

I do a lot of bull shit days at Toronto Motorsports in Cayuga and Dunnville Autodrome, nothing serious just a few of us renting the track out and beating on them a bit. Save the serious time for the Glen and the other big tracks

Have you tried the shifter carts in Missasaugua? I've been meaning to get up to those.

Hey, nice ride! Silly question, I've got an e34 sedan, are you swapping out the rear seats? Either way, do you think it looks even remotely possible to fit those fold down seats in my car? How about pics of the hinges and clasps if you can get 'em? I'd love to be able to fold my rear seats down!

They are completely different, besides finding e34 touring stuff is a bit more difficult due to the numbers in which they were created and the number of us who scoop up parts when they are available. I'll have more pics in a week or two.
