Nice car. There are a lot of things are changed and optimized.
The US M3 engine is a lit bit different as the german M3 engine.
The basis is a 2,5 litre engine with other motorparts, and later a 2,8 litre engine.
The USA has another emission.
The german M3 engine is a 3,0 litre version.
In german euro 1 emission.
Which Turbo do you prefer, and how much is it in USA?

It's a 3.0 liter OBD1 but it has a Euro head with even larger valves with the cams and port and polish just works great. As far as the turbo-that's a big question. I was looking at active but I am getting mixed feedback. I really only need the exh manifold, turbo, and blow valve and the rest I can fabricate myself. However, do I do low boost with a head gasket or build a bottom end on the side and just get a crank, rods, and pistons and do it right. Either way it is on hold until I get an extra 10grand to play with.

I see. If you need some parts for your engine, no problem.
I get this parts cheaper in germany.
A friend of mine has an old E30 with M5 E28 engine and a KKK Turbo with 1,4psi. About 714HP.

As for the OP...not terribly sure what you're referring to as a euro head. As far as I know, the S50B30/S50B32 head is in no way adaptable onto the M5X based motors. Cool project otherwise, though that wing is a bit...conspicuous

Production date is in May 1994. Soon thereafter they made many changes to the car in the beginning of 1995. 04-05 Ahh its in the ballpark. Kind of a pain in the ass to get parts cause the dealer always gives me the wrong stuff even with the vin. Not too many stock parts left though. It sure would be sweet to find an aluminum block. With carbon doors and a cage she's all set for the track. Yo Dom-Ill be in Osnabruck in two weeks. Not sure how close that is to you though?

Talking

Thank you. That's what I say.

In German.
Das ist es, was ich sagen wollte. Der US M3 beruht auf einer M50/52 Maschine.
Am Anfang 325i uns später 328i.
Die USA hat andere Abgasvorschriften, puh very easy.
