Yay I'm back!

Haven't posted in a while. To be honest, I thought DTMPower.net was dead.. out of curiousity I came back and checked. Looks stronger than ever.

Last time I posted I had a 20th Anniversary Volkswagen GTI:

I have since sold that, luckily for more than what I originally paid for it. It was giving me problems, in under a year I had two blown motors (mostly because of faulty warrenty work by a dealership) and I was tired of driving rentals and loaners.

So now I am onto my new car... err, project:

So far it's been mostly maintenance and repairs. As it sits right now, it has a S13 blacktop SR20DET, Greddy hotpipe, stock sidemount, MR downpipe, Apexi catback, Spec Stg 3+ clutch, Cusco sways, Apexi strut bar. Tein Tie Rods, Eibach springs on KYB struts (has to go), Koyo radiator, and a few other goods.

Pretty soon it's going to have a front mount, Helical LSD, and some sort of fuel management (probably Greddy e-Mangage). All that is if money permits and the car doesn't break again.

I'm into the whole drifting scene but I don't intend to drift with this car. Drifting takes alot of wear-and-tear on a car and I don't want to lose my car because I am trying to get sideways. Instead the car is going to be set up for autocross/roadracing.

It has felt like a year since I've posted here, I guess I'm wrong. I could have sworn that I didn't show the car on this forum yet.

that's a sick lookin ride. you still plan on tryin to make a pretty penny off some wanna-be drifters? i wouldn't, it seems a waste, but either way, it's your call.

Yea, Tokyo Drift didn't have any 240sx's in it, to my suprise, so prices didn't really go up like I thought. I have seen some increase in drift crashes, but nothing drastic. I was able to pick up the Cusco sway bars (retails for $600 front and back) for only $180, off of a wrecked car. Deal of a lifetime

The wheels are horrible, they're called AZA staggered. 225/35r18 in front and 275/35r18 in back. I like the size and how they tuck, but they honestly weigh 55lbs with tire. I'm going to strip the paint and go back to metal (the black paint is chipping).
