My new e46
I finally dropped the hammer and made the switch from e36 to e46. I bought an 03 330Ci Sapphire Black Mettalic/Natural Brown, Sport/Premium/Cold. I gotta say there are a few things that I miss about the e36 - but I'm definitely not looking back

The E36 just felt more raw - more like you were driving a sports car not a luxury car. The E46 is faster and handles just as well, but it just doesn't have the same feel. I miss having a throttle cable - drive by wire SUCKS. And I miss not having a clutch delay valve (but that'll change soon).

Software or a LTW flywheel will take care of that drive-by-wire throttle issue.

I've looked into the Dinan software but i just can't justify paying Dinan prices for software that does NOTHING except fix drive by wire, and raise the rev-limited (which I don't care about).

This is sort of a touchy subject with me Dinan charges the same for this software as they do any other, even though it does nothing HP/TQ wise.

That is why you should get a Shark Injector. Screw DINAN and their ridiculous pricing. At least the Shark Injector actually does give you some power gains (albeit minimal).

I bet.... Well that's the reason why i'm still SKEPTICAL on crossing over to an E36!!
