| Opinion's needed on my Dinan E30 (no 56k) I seriously can not decide wtf I want to do with my taillights. I have a major problem with anything amber on cars, I don't know why, I just do. So I did the red-tail painting method (sorry, don't have any pics) and that method annoys me because of the difference in the texture on the light. I'm anal so that's why that method is out. So since I recently blacked out all of my signal's, I thought I should do the same with my tails :dunno Here are the pics... the produce came out very good, it's nice and smooth and shiney too Anyways I want to hear your opinion's on what I should do. My "theme" for this car is to have it black/white/little chrome yet very clean. I don't want to change too much visually. Also, I put in the pics of what the blacked out lenses look like when lit up as some had requested.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

| no no Danny the rims are what makes the car unique & rare.. ![]() Seeing the car is white I personally feel had you been able to obtain some red tails it woulda stayed better than the black

| IMO, the main thing to remember when modifying lighting is uniformity. You simply can't run clears up front, and ambers in the back (or any variation thereof). I think that the smoked tails suit the look you are trying to achieve with this car very well, and I personally like it a lot. Can't wait to see it dropped!

| done the same when i had my e30. blacked out all round. you know you could have sorted the texture difference by sanding the lenses before painting the orange bits then whack a few layers of clear over the top lol

| I like the way the car looks now... as far as the tails go i think that they are perfect. I think you need to focus on other details of your E30. My buddy has blacked out the chrome window moldings and that looked great for his E30, i think it could give you more of that look you want. I think new wheels could make it look nicer... but wheels are a lot of money that could be spent else where. Great E30 non the less

| Hey man, If I were you I'd strip the tails and do them a little less dark, the way the MHW's look. I tinted mine to be a little more tinted, but not blacked out. Otherwise the car looks great! Did you get a boost controller yet? http://www.e30tech.com/pictures/matt/013.jpg matt

| Hey Matt... That was my original plan was to stay light but for some reason once I started spraying I kept on going ![]() And no boost controller yet. I'm taking my car to F2uning on Friday to have it looked over for tuning. Anything you recommend for a boost controller?
