Thumbs up Very Wide Widebody BMW Project!

3/22/06
Widebody is now officially underway and I hope they bust it out to near primer status in 10 days!

Enjoy!

Yeah I really like the artic silver so I will keep it the same color because:
1) It's cheaper since I only have to paint the exterior.
2) There are very few turbo bimmers let alone widebody bimmers that are silver.
3) I like it.
4) Doesn't get dirty so fast like other colors (except white of course)

They will finish it all with fiberglass and get it close to primer stage. Then I will tow it back to the fabrication shop for the new custom built motor to be installed and the custom fabrication of the turbo system will begin!

Then after it is all finished and tuned, I will drive it back to the body shop for primer and paint.

The car is going to be used for everything. My goal is for it to be amazing in nearly every way. It hopefully will be:
1) Fun weekend cruise while thumping the bass car
2) Freeway monster car
3) Good track car
4) Great drag strip car
5) Show winning car

Lovin' your car! I hope to take mine to Willow Springs Raceway when she is finished! Just for fun, she wouldn't be legal for any club racing.

Oh nice that you have the Zeemax. Yeah I will be customizing it quite a bit. Smoothing out vents and moulding, not using Zeemax side skirts or front bumper... I actually have it widened a lot more than how it comes if you can't tell.

The tires in rear are equivalent of 335s!

The bumpin' part was done a long time ago. If you want to see the complete transformation over the last 5 years click here

It's a Rieger Infiniti I bumper. I think it is THE best looking front bumper for the e36. Basically like the stock M bumper but the front lip comes down another 1.5" to match the side skirts. That was the only problem with the stock M bumper. This is the look I am going for with mine by shaving the moulding.
