Okay, cool. For all of us who can't make it to CA, you should make sure to take plenty of pictures and post them up in the forum

Looking very good! I'll be excited to see it finished, and to see the wheels you've been hiding!

Here is a pic of the e46 m3 replica that was on my car. A lot of guys said I should have used this for my project.
I laughed my ass off at that.

Awesome project man, keep us updated.

Edit: Hmm ... looks like this thread is a bit old. I wonder what happened? Oh well.

There are too many decaying threads around here.

Car ended up taking like a year longer than expected!

The entire turbo system is complete and built engine is complete. So the car is back at the body shop to get the widebody finished and ready for paint. I changed a bunch on it. It's going to surprise a few people. Nothing crazy, just something I haven't really seen before. I wanted something more true to the BMW lines.

Car might be 100% complete and tuned in 6-8 weeks.

Nice, good to see the project is still going on. Get some pics up with any progress, sounds like this should be a really nice car.

New flares are in the works making her a little bit wider and giving her that e30 m3 look.

Sorry, that's all I can show you until the finished product.

Thanks! They are BFG Drag Radials so that is how they come. They don't last very long but are sticky like gum.

Widebody should be completed this week. Then the car will go to Speed Force Racing .com so the built motor and turbo system can plop back in the car. then only fuel, exhaust and tuning will be the last hurdle.

Car will be debuted at Bimmerfest in California. No more pictures until then.

i see the finned diff cover, wide tyres, widebody work....it all seems entailing of a serious machine.

I just hope you have the motor to back the widebody up.

Well, I hope the motor does it justice. Time will tell.
