| Hi Guys Hey guys, Just thought I'd introduce myself to you all while simultaneously showing you pics of my motor. Kills two birds with one stone! I've heard some good stuff about this site, especially about the Aussie forum  Thanks to Tazza (Adrian) for pointing me in the right direction  OK so here's my baby. I'm kind-of obsessed... | Hey hey, see you made it over alright!  Love the E30. Looks really clean. I'm sure you'll like it here, I think there is a Melbourne cruise in the next couple of weeks, check in the Aussie events forum.

| Hey guys, Thanks so much for the nice comments. It makes the effort all worthwhile. With regards to my car, it's got 135,000kms on the odo (I've done only 15,000kms in three-and-a-half years), and it's all completely standard. If I wasn't going overseas in June this year I would definitely be looking at getting a nice, bespoke cat-back exhaust system fitted just because the standard exhaust a bit resonant at 6,000RPM  There don't seem to be many bolt-on systems for the M42 in Aussie which is a bummer. Thanks again for the compliments. BMWs are the biz!!! BTW, I drove an E60 M5 for the first time the other day. OMG! Truly unbelievable power, deployed with complete control and subtlety. While I desperately wanted to swap the cogs myself, I had to admit that the SMG gearbox was brutally effective... Anybody else 'round here got their lucky butt into one? |
