(note, if ya not after the big read lol atlest go down the bottom to see if u can help me with my engine probs)

ok, im not here to break your hearts guys but about year and a bit ago the most imac stock e30 daily ive ever seen was writern off :'(
i came close to buying another e30 but cost of repair i decided was to much
i went to the dark side, i now drive a subaru
but dont worry, im my year of owning a suby ive started to grave the driving pleasure of the e30, so after going to my mates house my world was turned upside down, there it was, e30 323i 4 door, even in its shit condition im inlove, $500 and its mine, so u bet, im returning to the e30 world
it just looks bad, bad some weekends and some elbow grease will make it sooo nice, only down side is, doesnt run according to my mates dad its only the radiator thats stuffed, so that aint so bad
anyways
the plan is (read my old plans and compare how much ive come to my sences lol)
ok
first things first, the plan is, weekend track car
so
black FR17's with chrome lip, big dish, oooh baby
tow home lol
fine out the engine prob
fix it if we can
then strip it completley starting with interior sourcing all the stuff its missing (basically nothing) and just giving it a bassic massive clean
then, much the same but to the exterior, cut and polish should bring the paint up nice
then wit the help of my mate (cause im dumb) find reasons to get rid of the suspension and brakes lol
so, once all easy stuff is fixed and car is looking nice and i no all the probs i should hopefully of saved up enough for the real stuff
so, cause i want it for a track car ill get full coil over suspension, sway bars and all that shit to make it as if its on rails around corners which will do me for the time being, wont be fast, but will handle
ok, next will be interior, theres a nice set of leather race style (kinda lol) seats ill put in, black leather of corse and re-trim the rear to match, all the black plasticy bits carbon fibre (or look alike carbon fibre) plus things like steering wheel, gear knob and shit also put in some decent speakers and cd player, no subs or nothing lol
once interior looks kinda race-ish ill move onto body work
nice body kit (maybe even flare the gaurds a bit)
ive got couple idea's in my head for paint
matte black
matte black silver two tone
matte black, shiney black two tone
black
white orange two tone
blue (would have white rims)
also somewhere in there would go manual, exhaust and induction
so, thats ya definets
now for the more then likely, engine work
im think about going sr20, rb20 maybe even 2jz
but.... after reading some stuff on here maybe ill go stroker 2.7 m20?
would these just drop straight in, could we backyard it lol
but, lets keep in mind theres a 253V8 sitting at my mates house doing nothing haha




but yeh, how much we looking at to stroke the engine to 2.7? and is there anything else that would need to be done? also what kinda power would i expect? keep in mind, for the moment im not after the world fastest, just a nice round figure for now and im not made of money lol

plus, anything else u guys reckon i could of missed out, other then the rb26dett hahaha

keep it german man... dont do what everyman and his dog does and put a jap motor in it..:P the only jap motor id think of putting in mine would be a 1 or a 2j.. you can always look into the m50/2 s50/2 motors they are great for e30's

Sad to hear about the 318i mate

I'd go SR20, if you must go jap engine conversion, personally theres nothing wrong with a off chops modded m20. FR17's are farking hot as rims but a bit expensive (but thats because they're such a quality rim)
