Cole's Sharp E46

Well I figured I should post my ride. I know its not an M3 or a 330 or anything, but its mine nevertheless and I LOVE IT. It is more or less stock, a couple small things have been done but not a whole lot. I do plan on doing stuff though, ie:
Angel Eyes
Clear Front Reflectors
Clear Rear Turn Lights
Keyhole cover
Tint Job
Chip (No clue which one...help!!)
Strut Bar
Body mods

Anyhoo, I would love some input and maybe some ideas on what I should do.

And I also plan on at some point putting in a sound system but I dont want to take away from the elegant look, so PLEASE help me with that. Thanks

looks pretty clean! What you have planned sounds pretty good to me. As far as chips go, I own an e36 and not a e46....but I would still put my money on conforti if they have any out. Go to http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html/index.asp and looks around. Turner sells great parts and no garbage, so you'll probably be good with whatever you buy there. Hope that helps and good luck in the future with your mods!

Look into Dinan software since you have an auto, because they have chips make it shift faster for the tranny and also have chips to increase power.

Nice car you have there!!

One of the most effective (and relatively cheap) ways to improve not only the looks but performance of your car would be to lower it. In order to retain your comfort levels to a degree and also increase performance you probably wanna go with someone reputable like KW, H&R or Eibach. They all make sports springs to suit your particular model of car.

I've also heard that a lot of people upgrade their sway bars on E46s with great results in improved handling and stability. I don't drive a BMW but know a lot about European cars, so maybe you wanna speak to some of the other guys here about what they have on their cars and what they recommend.

Soundsystem-wise, if you want to retain the factory look of the system, maybe look at just replacing the factory speakers with some aftermarket items. If you want high sound quality, maybe look at companies like MB Quartz, AVI etc. and do a clean custom installed subwoofer in the boot, so you dont just have a generic carpeted box with a speaker sitting in the trunk!

I hope this helps a bit, but you're already on the right track by asking people for help here!!

here is the first mod you should do....take those mud flaps off. Otherwise you car looks very nice and clean. Some clearouts and some dark tint will make it look very nice.
