| the suspension is set up just so.. i dont actually have to use the brakes that much around corners usually just letting off the gas a tad will do the trick and if there is a second corner after that she will actually oversteer a little if you get the exit of the first corner and entrance to the second just right, she will easily lift the inside rear wheel around corners. also when i installed my reclining buckets i mounted them about 3-4 inches lower than the standard seats so as to seat the driver and passenger lower to the ground. eventually im going to take the car to a rally prep shop and have it corner weighted, this greatly improves handling as the suspension can be set up 100% perfect. as for straight line.. i had a run in with a stock hyundai coupe (US tiburon), the generation after the rounded ones with 4 round headlights. it was DEAD even and we raced 3 times. anyway back to cornering.. there are 3 seperate strut braces available for the fiesta.. front upper, front lower and rear upper, i will be getting all of these and in addition i will be making a watts link for the rear beam to stop unwanted side to side flex of the rear suspension. heres the strut braces im talkin about, should stiffen her up a fair bit more than she it now... cant wait! (ones pictured aint the same brands). you can see the lower one under this 5th gen: rear brace (click): http://www.ukfiestanetwork.com/index...image&img=2541 1.7 swap in a 5th gen (click): http://www.ukfiestanetwork.com/index...image&img=1574 couldnt find a pic of the front upper brace but im sure youu all know what one looks like lol

| ok sorry to barage onto this thread but i couldnt help laughing my azz off reading about your great handling fiesta. I drove one in South Africa and the handling is definitly not up anywhere near an evos. Also with the mods your car has im seriously doubting your storys and your estimated power figures are way off, no offense. Also i doubt that your rims are helping your handling to much

| you probably drove one of the 60whp 1.3 8v ones complete with 13 inch unicycle wheels. the 75whp 1.25 16v lumps regularly see a gain of around 10whp from a good intake and exhaust system, dyno proven. as for the wheels theyre ford standard items from a 6th gen fiesta. its enough to leave your cobra in the twisties anyway.. just wait till i get a digital vid camera ![]()
