my 92 318is, bodykit and 18inch rims

im new to this board, i know my car isnt as nice as most cars on this board but im workin on it. its a 92 318is with a hammon style body kit and 18inch chrome rims. still gotta do alot of body work to remove little dents then mold in the body kit and then paint it. the back bumper gave me alot of problems when i was trying to install it, the sides of it was so far off i had to heat up the corners with a heat gun and then bend it over to get it to mount. this caused the bodyline to have big gaps in it which probly wont look bad after i mold it. nothin alittle bondo cant fix i guess. im gonna start on the interrior pretty soon, going for a black on blue interrior with racing seats. well let me know what you think.

well it'll look better after i get it painted all one color instead of havin the bodykit the primer white it came.

that's good. my thing/issue with unpainted body kits is this; if you DID NOT have to trade or sell ur orignal bumpers, WAITTTT to install the new bodykit after you gather the cash for a paint job.

Why do you prefer such an agressive kit?

well i looked around at a bunch of kits and i really liked that front bumper plus the kit was only 300 so i couldnt pass it up. i seen alot of e36's on the net with that body kit and they all looked pretty nice i thought. i put the body kit on because i was gonna get it painted but then decided i wanna get a couple more things first like some eyelids and m3 style mirrors so i held off on molding it all in so i wouldnt have big bondo patches on the car atleast. then i ended up buying a few other things for the car and then i had to get my brakes replaced so that all put a crimp in my plans to get it painted, should be painted by early july. im a poor 20 year old so funds are limited.

got to give you credit for loving your car. i think the rims and the tail lights don;t do a bmw justice. chrome on bmws stay in maybe 5 series and up and only if a famous rapper has sat in the car.

but idk jus my .02. good luck and post pics of the finished car. then i will photoshop some bbs wheels into it.

Where in Michigan are you located? Detroit area seems to be the BMW hub of this state so Im gonna guess down there lol.

I myself like the kit its different than what you normally see on a BMW which I like cuz that way we all dont look the same!

kit will look very nice once painted, but... man i have seen better civics that that car, trade those headlights and tailights and get some good ones man. i have no idea where u got them ugly lights from but im sure im speaking for many right now, get some headlights from umnitza DEPO or ZKW (better) and get some OEM clears in the back and clear corners as well... good place to buy it all is http://www.pinnacleperformanceonline.com and http://www.umnitza.com
