She was insane, too. And not insane in an emotional way, but insanely beautiful. Which is obviously the preferred flavor of female insanity.

Impromptu photoshoot today of Carmen's car while I was up visiting. I drove it for the better part of the evening, and dudes, this thing is out of control. I have driven a few E46 M3s, and while the car has always impressed me, Carmen's is simply transcendent. It has every bit the direct feel of my E36, which says a lot about the Ground Control Advance Design suspension, but with a snap and high RPM pull greater than any NA BMW that I have driven to date. I love this car. It's perfect. And when the new wheels get here, which are the final aesthetic/performance upgrade to an immaculately modified M3, the car will be complete. At some point I am sure Carmen will post in this thread, and his signature has a mod list.

Oh - yes, those are Alcon brakes. Nasty. Just nasty.

So here's the story. Carmen grabbed my 20D and went down to the lake to take some pics. He had never shot with the camera before, but I have to give him credit, because these are what he shot:

Not bad. Not bad at all, considering the pics he took on full Auto mode were junk and the ones he took while "fumbling" with Tv, or shutter-priority mode, are the ones you see here. Pretty damn impressive, IMHO.

Anyway, I showed up, took the default pics of my car, and then continued to appreciate the beautiful form of Carmen's M3:

Getting dark, so here are my first attempt at moving night shots. ISO 3200, and then run through a noise reducer - thanks to Jay Arno for the heads-up on this app!

those Pics are amazing! Let me get this right, the only mods that he has are suspension upgrades and brakes? Anyways, great shots and both cars look amazing!

Not Even close, anyone that knows carmen's car ie, CARMEN should chime in here! Great pics regardless and the first one is priceless considering the quote in Carmen's sig!

Bavarian Performance Group and Peter Rowell are responsible for the bolt-on engine work, which includes CSL headers, and a full Supersprint catless race exhaust, and the Ground Control advance design suspension that was originally intended only for track cars, but that Carmen was able to source for his car with a little bit of finessing.

But it is the Discovery-Automotive AREA 51 software that ties that car together. I drove the car before and after the DA boys "meddling," and there was no comparison. Don't get me wrong, with the bolt-ons it was fast, but with the DA software addition it became a - pardon my french - fucking joke over 4000 RPM.
