I want to hug you!
I lovveeeeeeeeeee/like/appreciate people who pamper their cars!
And you are one of them

Tell me please - have you enjoyed the first days in which you had the air intake installed?
Have you felt any increase in perfformance? Have you had problems with the AFM?

Haha, yeah I am. The intake was amazing. Butt dyno showed gains in low end torque, but the best part was the fact that it was essentially removing the intake baffle, so the car gained a healthy growl in the 2-3.5k range. I've had no problems with the AFM, or anything with the car for that matter.

That's second or third on my list of things to do. I know it should be higher on my list, but it's a bugger getting money together for a full suspension job.

Take your time. Don;t huryy on spending money, think twice on what is more important for the close future. Moreover, it is better to save a nice sum, and then buy something respected!
Good luck!

Have you considered painting your bumpers/sideskirts white yet? Either way is a sweet car.

m3/4bimmer: I've considered it, but rather than go white, I actually painted them black. From the factory, they were grey, so black is just an improvement on what was already there. White would make it look too much like a 323/328.

cop: there are just too many potholes where I live. For me to get 18s, the rubber would be too thin, then all it'd take is me not seeing a pothole. Keep in mind, I have very limited funds. I'm a student, and I honestly couldnt afford having to replace a wheel right now.

Long term, I'm going to get a carbon fiber hood and trunk (and roof if I can get someone to make it for me). At that time I will repaint it Alpine White, and maybe leave a carbon fiber racing stripe or something like that, just, nothing too ricey.

i must say that is very nice i love the alpine white its one of my fav colors, but if you are going to do all that carbon fiber stuff that you are talking about then it will kind of look like a two tone and that is sick dont get me rong but it will not realy tie the car in but it would be worth going the hole way with that and do the carbon to the top of the wheel archers and the gruve where the doors locks are just to make it all fit in together and then you will not need to do stripes (red stripes give a 25kw increase in the cars performance lol)

what are you planning on doing to the engine?

as soon as you get this stuff done then plz post some more pics

Yeah, the carbon fiber, like I said, is long term... like three years down the road? Engine wise, I plan on cams, injectors, throttle body, headers, cat-delete, and whatever it takes to get it up to about 240-250bhp. Sure, it would be more cost effective to get an M3, but the car is payed for, and that's all I need.
