e30 325ix vs 93' 325is

As I am sitting at the light on my usual route home I notice an e30 coming up in my rearview mirror, I think to myself "another woman on her cell phone probably", to my suprise not really. The women pulled up along side of me to the right and began to play with the clutch, I looked over and gave a thumbs up, she just smiled back. I wasn't going to go all out but when the woman made the first move I couldn't allow her to win.

We Made two runs, I won both. The first was about a 1/4 mile and I pulled a CL maybe 1.5. The second run was a bit longer, perhaps 2 miles of open highway? She was a good distance behind me. I opened my sunroof in the 5 degree weather and gave her a thumbs up.

I thought the e30 325ix was a Euro only production run?

the E30 325ix is not rare here in the states. They are quite common.
