Indy blue Cooper S detailed

Well, this is my dads car, but since my 325 is r.i.p., this will be my replacement in the time being. What a crappy deal......... hehe

Process:

Powerwash
Clay bar
Swirl Remover
Wax
Detail Spray
Rain-x front windshield (couldn't get to the rest)
Rejex on the wheels

It just started raing, so hence the water drops...

And, my test/custom Alcantara Shift boot is in there too. The Alcantara e-brake boot isn't in the car at the moment though, but oh well.

The leahter I massaged about 4 days ago with a leather conditioner with my hands. Rubbed areas that look like they are starting to wear... and rubbed it some more. I will do this once a week for about four weeks to completely rejuvinate the leather, and let it become a little more moiste, which in turn will make it more FLEXIBLE, making it last LONGER.

That is our X3 in the background.

And ALAS, the shift boot:

I think I can handle driving around in this for a little while

Sometimes I simpaly can't understand people.
WIth the whole respect to your 325 - I believe (I asume your yonger than
20)
that this Mini, is simpaly made for us - those who are still yonger than 20!!!

Look - I go crazy with BMW (ofcaurse I do, otherwise why I'm here?!),
but the is what it cold - Mini, and as I have undersood,
the Mini is pretty strog car (I'm talking about accidents), it has nice engine, it's no doubt amazing vehicle, and it's not that expensive...
I don't know, this is what I believe - maybe I'm wrong!

BTW - nice mini, I hope you're enjoying it

Wait untill you sit in it.... you'll be amazed at the quality of the seats. Some of the plastic parts could be a little higher quality, but the overall quality for the price is pretty amazing..

If it were up to me, I'd re-wrap some things in some high quality vinyl instead of some of the painted plastic peices.

But I do agree, some of the interiors now-a-day's are utilizing some strange trim peices.

Oh and the sound system is unbelievable. I have had the bass turned to neutral becuase it has so much normaly. Most BMW's I have to turn the bass way up (like my dads 02 m3).

Right... Jr, you wish you could get 25rwhp with only 200-500 bucks. A quick change of the pulley and shark software and boom, I'll go from 0-60 in 7.2 seconds to as quick as your M. Or well.. so Turner Motorsport says.

It's true though.... this thing does put a smile on your face everytime you drive it. Even if your pissed off beyond limits, you so much as sit in this thing you'll have a smile.

Thats what I call quality engineering.... ha and all the mag's said it won't last. Now it has one of the TOP resale values of any other car on the market.

So now I'm looking for a new 325, or 328, Coupe hopefuly, or even an M if it's cheap. Avus blue is in the horizon too

And if whatever one I get doesn't have the clear turn signals, I'll still take them

Haha, yeah welcome back and nice work with the mini. Don't clean the seats to much or you might slide into the passenger seat in a hard left turn. Wait a minute, Welcome back to me too.
