Tried of people flashing their brights at you!

Dont take this thread the wrong way! Im not a road rage kind of driver in any form.

But Im tired of random stupid kids that want to race and end up just harrasing me on the road flashing their brights and what not.

Im sure we all have been flashed from time to time-But it realy realy ticks me off.

Im sure we all know that we could get loud as H3ll horns for our cars so if we ever felt like realy letting someone know you dont like the way they were driving they would be sure to get the point.

But........ does anyone know if someone has come up with a brights for the rear of your car that you can swich on and oh so lovingly return the favor to some lets says rather anoying customers like {tailgaiters- people flashing you ect}

Like I said im not crazy or in any way support road rage but it would put a smile on my face to know I had the capability in some situation where it seemed prudent, to be able to blind the H3ll out of some of these guys.

Any thoughts....

I normally get the flashing from on comming traffic b-cause the 7's lights are soo bright to begin with...then they get the brights and its all over...hehehe

If you have the dealer installed spoiler, mount something in your unactive 3rd break light.

that might work i didnt think about that. Install a bright as hell light in the spoiler......

the elevation is right at eye level for most drivers too.

I get people in the oncoming lanes flashing me all the time. Silly people.

I don't think they realize my lows are brighter then their highs. Or maybe they do? Then again most people don't run around with e-code lighting assemblies.

With a flick of the stock my lows, fogs, and highs turn on. They then scratch their head.

Most times people on oncoming lanes flash for a reason which is usually a warning that cops are stationed not too far away. Or maybe they just want to acknowledge the fact that you have a nice car. I don't know why some people get ticked off by random flashing of high beams.

Coming from a country where honking your horns 100 times a day, sideswiping sidemirrors and cutting in front of other cars and getting cut off is all normal and acceptable driving etiquette... flashing high beams is nothing in comparison.

last weekend on my way to a friends house i got reallllll scared. I was driving on the local lanes of I-95 going about 75mph steady and as i pass an on ramp to my left i see a 240sx that was all dented up with a huge spoiler etc etc. I didnt think anything of it. I passed him going at speed so i though he was about 1/4 mile behind me. In any case about 30 seconds later i see HID's flying towards me in my rear view mirror. He must of been going 100+ and when he got close to me he slammed his brakes and got about 3 feet away from my bumper. I got fucking scared, real scared. I flashed my hazards and he got on my right lane. As he got next to me he kept "blowing off" his turbo and jerking for a race. i just kept driving.

He disappears behind me and AGAIN i see HID'S coming up real fast behind me and at this point i wasnt taking any chances with this stupid fuck. I dipped into 3rd and never saw him again. Jeesus, some people are so stupid and...well STUPID.

damn... haha what shithead. i hate that kinda shit.

as for the rear light mecanism, if it happens that often and you really find it to be too abnocscious(?) then.. im sure its illegal but if i were you i would just mount a projector light that you can get at any autozone like for a jeep or some off road type light and place it in the rear deck by the speakers or the 3rd brake light, wire it up to something like the rear cabin lights?? just becareful theres some crazy ass shitheads outhere and you never know how they might react especially as theyd never be expecting that. man the stories ive heard.

The only time I get "flashed"(by headlights) is when there's a cop up the road or if there is wreck or something coming up......I guess no one wants to race a Jeep?

I think that its not very hard to tell the diffrence between someone who is generaly trying to warn you of something like you have a flat or a cop is up the way and some stupid kid like caracas was talking about.

If it was up to me every car would have like a small purple or green light you could flash at people to let them know a cop was up ahead.

that brings up a whole nother issue...

haha why not just relay a switch to your reverse lights... on the BMW's they are bright as hell. Just have a wire going from a power source to your reverse lights. Switch it on when someone is on your ass or flashing you from behind. The only things that flash me are chicks when i'm cruising downtown
