Back in a BMW once again...

That's an old picture. Haven't had time to take any decent shots since I picked up officially this past Thursday. But it pretty much looks the same.

I bought it off one of my best friends (DeezL, for those that may remember) so I know its history since the day he brought it home from Florida back in 1997.

It also came with quite a few goodies on it.

H&R Cupkit
17" staggered Motorsports
HID kit
Dinan chip
Rogue DMS
Custom Rogue SSK
AC Schnitzer pedals w/dead pedal
Rear clears
Cross-drilled rotors in the rear
ECIS Intake
X-brace
Rogue e-brake handle

Most likely going to throw an M-technik kit on it once I have the loot. Then perhaps some new wheels and keep the Motorsports as a winter set. Other than that it's a damn nice car as it is.

It's nice to be back behind the wheel of a proper vehicle.

Oops. It's a 1995 325is.

No need to paint the skirts since I plan on getting the M-technik kit anyway.

And as for how much I paid, let's just say I got a good deal.

Nice. 95's one of my favorite E36 years. It doesn't have the complicated and easy to break digital A/C, annoying OBD-II, and leatherette (fake leather) that came standard on 328s.

What happened to your white E46 coupe?

Gave it back in March. Didn't appreciate paying more for insurance every month than I was for the car itself.

Now I'm back in black.

That looks exactly like my car, except for the rims and side skirts since I polished the gray off them. It really looks nice, and black is my favorite color for that car, especially with tints.

The car's not anything new to me. As I said in my first post, I've known (and driven) the car since my friend brought it back from Florida back in 1997.

But the two are completely different cars. The E36 is more loose which makes for a more involved drive. The E46 was stiffer which made it more controlled and made driving it instinctively relatively easy.

My 330 definitely had more power and of course I miss it but the 325 is loads of fun. It's just nice to be back in a BMW.
