_Darkside Dakar Pics_

Went for a long drive today, tried to get some drama off my mind, but yeah stopped at couple random places to take some pics. Had to snap some of these with the quickness so I didn't have time for any nicer angles. Well take it for what it's worth...

Too dark, no time to turn of flash, Middle of the Canyon... blah, this is a sweet place right before dusk, the sunlight shoots through the branches and leaves. Oh well.

...and yeah I'm gonna leave the blacked out clears till I smoke the clears.
Thanks for looking.

_Paul

Damn, imagine if you had a splitter or lip. Live Oak Canyon? It's a road off of santiago canyon. That looks exactly like it.

Wassup Paul, I WILL have a splitter some day, oem or CF DTM, but thats after I get wheels and lift her up a bit. And yeah it's the road off Cook's Corner. It's fun but the length is weak sauce. We should hit up Ortega one of these days after you get your suspension together.

I wasnt really feeling those blacked out corners at first, but with them both like that, it goes really well on the car, with the intake. Didnt realize you could still see the lights through them though, it looks really dark. Just need some rims now :-)

Yup, the road off of Cook's Corner is Live Oak Canyon. Its really awesome like you said when the sunlight shines through the trees. That one hill after the first set of chicanes is downright scary! haha but I know exactly where it is now. Lucky that you live so close to that road. I got my suspension on wednesday I am just waiting for GC to ship me stiffer spring rates, top hats and bearing assemblies.

That's sick Paul, I can't wait to see your set-up. Let me know if you need any help with the install. Ohh and we still need to change our oil.

Aren't the things that light up in front called headlights?

Yeah, I know what you mean though, ZKW's and 6K HID's would be nice.

YES, that's right. I started Team_Notorious, just a group of friends that GTG and chill, we have a couple cars pretty much all E36's and one E46, good times

And IMO crystal clears make the rear super clean and updated especially on brighter colors, it may be a bit much on more subtle colors but I dig em. Ohh and as for OEM been there done that, different strokes.

Also you both have sweet cars. Heck Yes!
