Whats wrong with having your daddy buy you an m5

And as for that whole 2 car thing, dont do it. I had a 2003 330ci and a 95 turbo m3 at the same time. You honestly only need 1 car bro.

i dont mean to sound like an ass or anything but i lose a lot of respect for people when they say their parents bought their car for them... especially the ones who also pay for their kid's gas whenever they need it. The way i see it, regardless of how rich daddy is, you need to get off your lazy ass and get a job to afford a car yourself instead of having everything served to you on a silver platter. I'm 19 and i just bought my own 2001 325i... people ask me if my parents bought it for me and then i tell them no, every penny is out of my pocket and their eyes get wide and congratulate me on it. I live in southern california so all we have down here are lil' rich kids who's parents buy them anything they want so when a "kid" buys a nice car on his own its amazing. Like i said, i dont mean to be an ass, im sure youre a cool kid, but for a first car thats a bit too much in my opinion... in both price and power. just be careful

My parents bought my cars. I am a respectable person, sometimes. Don't make anyone feel shameful because they are more fortunate than you. Same goes for those more fortunate. Anyone who has trouble accepting money is a free enterprise, welcome to the real world.

Seriously. When you all get a chance, go to the lounge and click on the "work hours" thread, and find my post. As you will all see, my summer is fucked due to the fact that i constantly work for my dad. And the car isnt a gift cuz im spoiled, its a gift that i earned.

I display real world work ethics unparallel to 99% of people in America. I derive from a very well off background which encourages my aspirations in life. Don't throw that I earned it bullshit in because it means absolutely nothing to anyone but you and people like you who feel its a privilege to have done so. You want something to put your chest in front of my face you'll need a better reason cause I know 100 people who've bought their own cars. If you want to impress me go start a family and spend time with them. Working hard in life will have its disadvantages. Finding a way to do less is more impressive, IMO. Use time or use your mind.

That is very cool and fast for a first car. Drive carefully because the BEAST goes like hell. My dad bought my first car to me and it was VW Golf VR6 ´93. That was fast enough for me. I changed it for a ´95 Escort RS2000 16V and I have had a Corrado VR6 and Alfa 164 3.0 V6 for a little time but unfortunately couldn´t afford to drive and own such a cars at the age of 20. The Corrado was a manic beast and is now owned by a friend of mine.

Nice car mate....trust me, that car goes like a bat outta hell!

For those of you flaming him, look, it's his parents money, he's the son of his parents, therefore let them spend their money on their son how they like. Ok, maybe it's abit too much, but who cares, if you got money, spend it, because you can't take money with you when your dead and gone can ya?

Leave the kid alone man...jeez...

wow, your dad is not very smart, he is really gonna buy his 17 yr old a car that has 400hp? youre going to wreck it, that is way too much power for your first car.
