*One Project Down*

Well I asked a question a couple weeks ago about a Headlight intake duct, based on the Audi DTM cars. Everyone told me it couldn't be done clean or whatever blah blah blah... "Check out the Turner One..." K no thanks, I walked into my garage and made my own exactly how I wanted it. It took about 2 days of brain storming and searching for parts, but mission accomplished and here it is. Thanks to my buddy for helping me cut the metal reducer, that thing was a pain to shape and trim.

up close and personal

It's working well, sucks air straight into the debaffled airbox, the next thing I plan on doing is drilling some holes into the reducer to let out moisture when it rains and running a hose straight into the airbox. The future plan is a Euro HFM with a cone intake instead of the Euro airbox and a heat shield. I planned on some ellipsoids but oh well go before show. Well onto the next project. Thanks for looking.

...If you could just counter sink that with the headlight assembly I would give you crazy props. But under these situations I gotta say it looks pretty damn good.

Thanks for all the comments guys, I appreciate any constructive criticism. As for the mounting, Im in the process of locating a smaller rubber strip to cover the circumference of the reducer making for a much cleaner fit.

Hahah Yeah I was pretty determined, I really wanted something different that would give me performance as well as the the look im after. Some may think it's too much or that it lacks (a High Beam) hahah, no worries. If you want something bad enough just doooo it. Thanks again for the comments.

Turner Motorsport makes that unit. I wanted to keep my Low Beam. Thanks for the heads up though.

Thanks man, I'm not building a car strictly for the track I just wan't my car to "go". I would love to track this thing someday when I can afford for breakage and what not, but till then shes gonna be my daily.

The car does look like it got quite a purple eye, I beat it's ass with a dremel. Hahah. As for the dyno, I will have to wait a bit for some things I plan on doing to the motor. LOL, pirate. Thanks again for the insight.

Thanks man, as for whats next... for the motor it will be a custom chip for my 3.2 obd1 and a Euro HFM, cosmetically the next step will be painting my replica LTW low spoiler (all molded so it looks like one piece) and reiger roof wing. The spoilers have been sitting in the dust for months, no money to paint them. But yeah theres a lot more just not within reach as of right now.
