Thumbs up How do you like my new car ???

Hi!

Today I bought my new car!!!
My BMW E30 318i ran 412.000km until its engine wrecked down. So I wanted to try something new, and so I bought a new car, which my freind tuned up. Have a look:

First it was a Volkswagen Polo with 55hp.
NOW it's Polo, with an Audi TT-engine,
250hp // 3,2litre // V6 // 0-60: 5,6sec.
manual transmission // weight: 1038kg
Max.Speed: 260km/h
Light Alloy Wheels: 7,5x16 front and
8,5x16 back with tires:
front: 215/35 R16
back: 225/30 R16

I like it very much, cause with such a small car you can make very good killraces ;-))

So you like it ? What's your impression ?

That's the hotness, if for nothing else then you being able to put a 3.2L V6 into an area formerly occupied by a 1.2L 3 Cylinder.

Sehr gut gemacht... Welche zeiten hast du jetzt fur 0-100km/h?
Roger

To answer the question:

Ich brauch von 0-100km/h 5,6sec
From 0-100km/h I need 5,6sec

Yeah, my friend told me that this was really hard to realize, because the engine is extremely big for such a small car.

Yeah, and the sleeper-style is da best style - no one knows how fast the car really is. Only when they see my back....

Why no pictures of the engine? I hate to be pessimistic or anything but I find it somewhat hard to believe. The 250hp version of the TT engine only came with quattro drivetrain... how did you work that out for this car? And where did you get your performance numbers from with this car? You already did official 0-60 and top speed runs? Those aren't 16 inch wheels either...

Anyways sorry for the questioning, im not calling BS (yet) but I'm intrigued by it. Post some pics of the engine and drivetrain setup. I will kindly close my mouth when I see them

that's a hot hatch. i'd be worried though; 55hp to a 250hp transplant - that thing would eat drivetrains on a monthly basis

Sorry for not answering you so fast, but at the moment I'm sitting with three friends in an Internet-Café in Cannes, France ---> so I'm on Holiday.
fked-up, slow I-Net-Connection, I hate this...indifferent...
When I come back (June 26th), I promise to make some pics of my engine.
