Clowning it up with an unpainted spoiler

My Hartge adjustable wing was delivered on Friday.

They don't have time to get it into the paint shop until the middle of this week so I figured what the hell, since it mounts to the trunk without using any drilling why not throw it on the car until they can schedule me in? I'll clown it for a weekend.

Aside from the fact that it looks wack unpainted....I like it.

I had the lip spoiler, or the "easy stick pee wee micro lip" as Techno Violent so affectionately termed it a few years ago, for about three years. It is just time for a change, and I love the look of the Hartge spoiler sticking off the back of the trunk when I look into the rearview.

I also took off the black Hamann kidneys as I wanted a bit more polished look from the front of the car to go with my HRE's polished outers. In the summer, of course.

Also, is that you driving the car? or do you always have your friends drive it?

There is a group buy going on over at Bimmerforums from KHY Motorsport, the same guys that I got mine from. I bet a quick search over there will yield all the info you need.

I usually only let the friends drive the car when I want to take pictures of it, as is the case in his thread.

What mods does the 350z (UltimateOne on here, I think) have to keep up with the E46 M3 - or did the M not downshift, it did look pretty close though.

cool, i actually like it better without the hamann kidneys on it. how much longer until you guys have nice enough weather for the summer shoes to go back on?

Jeff (UltimateOne) has actually clowned Carmen at a stoplight, but of course Carmen claims he wasn't paying attention.

Of the two, the M3 is faster, but from being there and watching that little contest in no way did the M3 clown him! I actually get beat a lot worse when I go after that M3 on the highway.

Some locals are putting on the good stuff now...but I am not fooled by April - I still feel there is one last snowstorm coming before I put on the HREs, I'm not clowning myself this year.

Yo. That wing is PHAT. Hartge stuff is so pimp, yet functional. Kinda ACS-ish, but not nearly as played. Great choice.

BTW G I clowned myself, and bought another watch instead of the cam kit, headers and pullies that I had planned. So this summer when I am getting roasted alive by everyone else I'm just going to hang my left arm out the window and flip 'em off with a face full of Panerai.
