300HP project 318IS delayed...

theres a pic of my car.....which was supposed to go into the shop this May..for a custom turbo install.... 20psi..over 300 HP..not bad for a 4 cylinder..1.8L....unfortunatly this project is going to be delayed because of some stupid drivers... the front end of the car is now smashed..the front bumper is in 2 pieces... i just spent over $2,000 in the last month having everything put into that car..
i love the car...and the damage can be repaired...but is it worth it?? should i just have the car repaired and continue the project after its done? of should i work on the 318i..i have in the garage?

How bad is the damage?

Is it only the bumper thats smashed? or the front nose panel? Hood, etc...?

pretty bad...gonna be a couple thousand worth of damage...but the good news is..that if i sell the car after being repaired...my dad says..hes going to buy me an E36 M3!

Can you describe how you were going to get 300 hp from a M42? Maybe the research you did to choose the components, turbo setup, etc. can help me and other m42 owners and save us some time.

i didnt really do any research, i just told this guy i called what i wanted out of my engine. he said he can do it...he'd have to rebuild my engine tho, its going to cost me anywhere from $4500-$10000. if you want the info, PM me, id be more than happy to give you the guys info. from what i heard he does a great job, when i talked to him, he said he'd do everything custom on my engine...im actually hoping my car is going to be fixed now, i thought about it and if insurance pays for my car, im going to ask about twincharging it. turbo with a supercharger...supercharger to take away the lag. it can be done... ..going to take some time and patience..hopefully i dont die before i can have it done..LOL...im hoping to finish my project by my 19th birthday.......8 months and 11 days to go...ill keep you guys posted to see whats going to happen.

explain how i can get more HP? well..if you get a turbo that can handle more HP..than you can get more HP out of it by having a higher boost level...
