Well after 6 hours of work on jack stands at my friends house today, no air tools, etc.. it's done! Well sorta at least, we forgot to pick up the spring compressor (and didn't have a ride at that point, sorta in pieces..) so we kept the rear springs in for now, first thing tomorrow those are going on.
I haven't really messed with it yet, apparently Dado had it set pretty nice on the M3 (still figuring out the timeline of when it was on his car, I think it was on before CDOC got ahold of the car before the rally.
More pictures to come tomorrow at the local DTM Power meets after I get the springs on!

After a quick drive around some amazing back roads, there really isn't anything I can tell you that describes how it handles lol. Telepathic maybe? The car simply knows where you want to go.. and does it, no questions (or squealing) asked.

I'm extremily happy; they are the Intrax ARS coilovers.

PS: 1995 M3 suspension fits on 96+ M3s perfectly, in fact we have yet to figure out what the differences are.

I was bone stock before, with shot springs/shocks.. picked these up for $800

I was going to pay an arm and a leg for GC coilovers but EuroPersona sucked and took 3 months so I FINALLY got a refund and was able to pay Dado in time.

The difference is really amazing, honestly the ride isn't that much stiffer, they still absorb bumps almost as well as before. There is a lot more feedback to the car now (steering and in general.) You feel like you are just skimming the surface of the road, it's amazingly smooth (yet there is NO body roll, and I had 4 people in my car when we tested it out.)

Couldn't be happier.

There are many difference between 95 and 96+ suspension. There are hardly any difference in the struts.

Oh.. I'm sure there are little parts that are different, I was thinking about things that would change the performance or install of 95 coilovers on a 97. Hmm, that's cool though.

You should readjust the ride heigt of your car - it looks high in the back. My car is also sitting just like that to nurse the rear tires til I get my new wheels on, but it throws off the handling FYI.

Yeah I know, good call on the tires. I somehow destroyed the tread on these too, poor eagle F1 GSs

FYI it's because the stock M3 springs are still on there.
..borrowing a spring compressor ASAP to throw in the Intrax ones.
I can feel the rear acting a little funny, the front of the car feels faster than the rear if that makes any sense.

Dude you dont need a spring compressor! Unbolt the shock and have a friend stand on the swingarm with all their weight. it should uncompress enough to get out! Once they are out the intrax ones will go in the exact same way with ease

I told him already and for some reason they couldn't do it I don't understand how they can't remove that rear spring. BTW Alex the first pictures released of my car was with the intrax coilovers
