I think it´s some kind of chermaic coating on the top of the pistons that has to be heated for some reason. But that i don´t know...

I´m sure Ted will fill you in..

And what's your compression ratio?

A little bit hard for me to explain in English, but i try...

It´s cheramic coating.
The heating is a part of the process when you put it on.
