| E30mademepoor, are the brackets different from the 87 and the 89? I always thought that it was a pop off and replace kind of job, unless you get an aftermarket bumper that is similar to that of the 87 325is. |

| In 1989 the E30 got a facelift, which included lower rear arches, and most notably, plastic bumpers. The style from the '88 and earlier cars have metal bumpers which, IMHO are uglier and do not bolt right on. -Ted

| Oh im not thrilled bout the metal lookin part of the bumper, but more so teh lower part. I guess its cus it stuck out further then most other e30's. and the 87 model 325is was the one with the lower bumper that stuck out a bit further out similiar to that of the e30 m3. heres a pic of what im talkin bout. im prolly just stating the wrong part. the part thats circled in teh red circle. Could this lower peice be put on a 1989 e30 model? or is there still that fitment issue you had stated. Last edited by nicom3 : 02-02-2004 at 02:32 PM. |

| Oh i know they are the orig egk2 I was referring to the lower lip area. I beleive the 87 was equipped with that of a motorsport front end, similar to that of the M-tech kit. that was what i was referring to. Sorry fo rthe misconfusion What i shouldve said was if i had the 89 model i would replace teh front end with that of the m-tech kit. I hope that made better sense then what i had stated above ![]() Last edited by nicom3 : 02-03-2004 at 07:09 AM. |

| That valence came on all the iS and eS models. I beleive that it is too deep and would stick out past the plastic bumpers. You're lucky to still have the iS lip on there, most of the time they are ripped off.
