| it all depends on how much you put in really...if you put a lot of pearl in the clear its kinda foggy and deepens the color ....it wouldnt turn blue....you generally put it in the clear for the fact of depth...it still shines and does its trick in the basecoat.....just flatter....if anyone gets that...think about single stage pearl paints...they still have the pearl just not in the space where clear provides luster to float in....there is a product by ppg that you can add pearl to called a blending agent...its generally used to have metalic paint particles lay out smoother when you blend panels...but you can spray the whole car with it...it makes the clear lay flatter too...dupont has something thats in a paint system that you use on the whole car for that purpose...its sorta an adhesion promoter too i guess...using a whole sh*tload of pearl looks kinda funny in my opinion....but have the painter do test panels with different ammounts in each coat so you can decide
