Pics of my 1971 panel bus and 1988 bmw e30 m3

Finally, pictures of both of my rides together. The m3 just got freshly painted bumpers, custom brake ducts, x-drilled rotors and pads. The bus just got its 1000 mile tune up and is ready to rip. All she needs is a new transmission is built for my old motor(1600cc) The new motor is a 2165cc. I was also being pulled over for being to loud. I never got a ticket due to my car is over 30 years old. My exhaust system is approx. 3 feet long with a flowmaster and a 4" out. I needed to quite it down a tad so I made an iron cross insert for the 4" out. The exhaust needs to be unbolted and resprayed. My new driveway works out well, I have 1 inch of clearence!

nice, I remember the bus looking more-orange in a different pic, is it dirty?

Also, didn't you say something about a sponsorship on the bus?

Your e30 M3 is tight. You could do better with nicer rims though.

The bus has always been a dirty red. I just got a garage so the body work will start soon. Yea I will be recieving a sponcer from tecate. I have to get the body figured out and they will be painting and decaling the bus. Heres an Idea of what it should look like! enjoy

I love the look of the bus. Where did you get that template for the sponsorship design?

you can build all types of buses on busselecta.com or something like that. The tecate logos are from work. I work for a beer distributership in seattle.

the rims give it a uniqueness.. they arent THAT bad common guys... I do think that they would look better if chagned though, but i like that gunmetal look with the paint

They look like smushed up Type #44's, but they work in a sense...

Love the bus and the M3. My friend has a 76 camper model, that he is completely re-doing.

Nice job...

they are similar to the type 44's but are 7 spoke and don't wrap over the outside of the rim.

I am planning on repowdercoating them soon. but before I strip them I am going to make them 2 tone. All the spokes have distinct lines where they meet the outer wheel, I am thinking of respraying the spokes either silver(I have left over body paint) or black and then leave the outer rim still gunmetal. Its just an Idea but since I have to strip the existing powdercoat a little paint won't make it much worse to do. It could turn out pretty good.
