Both of these are fairly inexpensive wheels with a nice simple design so just curious how they would look on an M3 or any other BMW for that matter.

yeah you need a 5x120 bolt pattern to fit the e36.

they look nice though.. if those privat's were hyperblack/silver id get em, if they were chrome only i wouldnt. The Voxx's will "look bigger" because theres no lip, and the spokes extend to the edge of the rim.

For example, 17" mille miglia mm11-2 sports look bigger than oem stock m3 rims, despite being the same size. The reason is because m3 rims have a lip .. it really makes a difference.

If you had 18's on your e36 with a serious lip, and 50 random car guys of all types of cars who didnt know you were surveyed on what they thought the size of the rims were, im sure at least 1/3rd if not 1/2 of them would think they were 17's.

I've been fooled many a time by cars on this site with lipped 19s thinking theyre 18s.. :P

These both have the right bolt pattern and are available from Discount Tire. I am not sure of the offsets though.

the privats are hyper gray..thats wierd, they also come in opal. i've been thinking about getting a set also but i have no clue how the finish will look in real life. will it have the same sort of finish as a hyper black? or will it just be gray or silver?
