Att : Dtm Melbourne Guys

Hey guys,

I know everythings been pretty quiet down here over the last month or so which has been to my attention by Windy......

i have recently started a new job and have not had as much time to organise any events so i guess the question is

What do you want to see more of from DTM Melbourne.......?

All comments and suggestions would be of great help and appreciated by us all...........

I agree with a lot of what Jamie has said and even tho it is not the intention of the moderators to see this board go down, I'm afraid it will if neglection of the forums and dtm events continue to happen. I must admit tho, Steve has been the most active of the moderators on the forum, and even tho a lot the times his actions are not appreciated, he's only been following advice that he has given. I think if anything is to work out, it must be dealt with in the bigger picture.

The sad thing is, some people think members leaving dtm is the best solution instead of working things out.

It's a real shame because I know how much potential the board has. The lack of vision and consistent action will surely kill the board.

Thanks for putting that in perspective Aaron, i guess you know how it feels being an ex moderator yourself, yes we do make mistakes like everyone else, and sometimes people take it personally when we are just doing what we are asked.......

Hi Jamie,

That does sound pretty bad, and I'd be upset with it too. I do know tho, at the time that happened, the person was under a huge amount of stress. I'm sure the person who said it feels bad about it and may even regret saying it. Sometimes people have momentary lapses in good judgement and I beleive this may have been one of those moments.

I hope you two will work things out. It would be a shame to see such a good friendship end.

I've had the whole death threat thing happen to me too by the
way Some guy from FastFours Forum wanted to take me out
because apparently I dissed a hatchback. lol.

I think shit hits the fan too easily around here - I know I seem to
be responsible for a lot of the shit stirring but in truth I've never
actually ever been pissed off at anyone on here! I just think
people need to lighten up a bit and stop taking things so
seriously online; roll with the punchs and chill! We're here to talk
about bmws and have fun! Not get agro!

We are all members and share a common interest here,
why should one person (from each state) control what we all do
and say. We all paid the same price to be a member here so we
should all have the right to say what we like when we like about
anything at all (within reason).

ALso - my suggestion isn't just cruises but more tuning orientated
things. Lets start tuning our BMWs el-cheapo style! Like maybe
organise some work shops, or next time you want that new
carbon fibre rear spoiler installed instead of going to the shop
grab ur local DTM mates and have a hands on day!!

your say jamie is only constant snide comments and remarks to myself, and you have always had the chance to have your say but your threads containing them will just keep getting deleted, i thought DTM was about positivity not someone attack someone else through there comments......

um yes posts like that will be deleted straight away, especially when they contain nothing but concocted stories, i wonder to myself why did you get kicked off MCCR forums? for causing trouble like you do on here? crying for sympathy over a mistake you made is not going to make anything better standing up like a man and accepting what you have done is wrong is more along the lines of a start jamie, for approx 2 months you have posted mostly utter nonsense and talked about how much you hate DTM and the people on the boards, now another thing is you have my address your quite welcome to come over and visit me anytime you want. just like in the past when i have gone right out my way to make you feel welcome in my home and in return what do i get? slander how about you tell the other members what you really think about them or prhaps tell the mechanics that fix your car what you really say about them, in my opinion you are a very sick man jamie making the kind of accusations against me you have, the kind of sickness that i would label manic deprresion, i have offered to help you when i have seen you crying out for attention but you have always knocked it back now if you were to act like every other member and start actually contributing instead of trying to ruin DTM we would not be having this conversation, i think you need to be first honest with yourself and honest to the other members on the board about your real intentions.

why did you come back a few days later and just cause trouble?, do i need to follow you around the board deleting your childish coments? why have you stayed on to cause tormoil when you have such hatred towards DTM and myself for doing my job.

i resent the accusations you have made toward me and how you have walked around the dtm community in Melbourne making me out to be someone im not, i will not tolerate from anyone being called the names and being labelled the person you have in the last month nor would anybody else i know so why not either leave like you keep saying you will or grow up and become a participating member of DTM instead of an of enemy you have already been asked to leave one forum as you put it to me but no one has asked you to leave here, only to stop with the ridiculous baseball bat sories and show a bit more respect towards DTM....

i never wanted to say anything about this but i feel i have now been given no choice, i to have to protect my own presence........

Steve, dude, it's like me and Babbs! I know the guy is full of shit
and only wants to get into my pants but I let it go. And I know he
bitches about me behind my back when I tell him I won't sleep
with him, but I've got to be strong and show I am better than all
that! (peace babbs)

You need to do the same! The people know who's right and
wrong and in the end bitching about others will get you no
where. So don't worry so much I've got my own opinion of you
from the way you've treated me in the past, and rumours are
only rumours, they don't effect the way I perceive you... I'm sure
everyone else is the same.
