What is not a ricer

i want to know what japanese cars you can tune with out looking like a ricer, granted if you tune a car tastfily it wont be a ricer, unless its a civic or a teg, what do you guys think are good japanese tuner cars, for me they would be the NXS, S15 Silvia, R34 Skyline, maybe S2000 (if its done right), Lancer EVO, WRX STI, and a few others that slip my mind right now, what do you guys think, Lets keep in mind i think we would all take a M3 over any japenese car so dont bring that up.

You would take the M3 over ANY? Japanese car, wow dude, i guess u have never test drove any other car in ur life. Also do u even know what rice means?? Even a M3 can be rice or a 72 Mustang. It all depends on how u want to make ur car look rice.

a rice car is taking a car and just putting stupid crap all over it that really does nothing for the car.

1. a wing that gives you more downforce from the weight than the aerodynamic

2. a coffee can exhaust that is just loud

3. a body kit just so you can say you have a body kit

I saw a rice 97 325is at the dealer today, it was pathetic, had a huge ugly wing ont it. Any car can be riced out, not all japanese cars are rice. Look at the picture of the Honda Accord that was at the Chicago Auto show on my website, that is a tight Honda. Not all Civic's are rice, they just happen to be the car that is riced out most of the time. It all comes down to how much you care about the car in my opinion. If your just trying to make your car loud then your going to rice it out, but if you actually like adding performance and doing it a classy way you'll be just fine. Thats my opinion on the whole topic.

Skyline GTR R34, SupraTT, 300zxTT, 350z Racin Edition, RX-7 T, RX-8 6Speed Edition, S2k, Silvia,NSX, 3000GT VR4, MR2 T

This is no diff on anybody elses car, this is just a list to stay they have other cars besides Civic and Accord

just to sho you there are awsome tunner supras in japan.

1) A car doesn't have to be japanese to be rice.

2) The Japanese make some very nice cars, both luxury and performance.

3) BMW makes some very nice cars, both luxury and performance.

4) You can tune any car to make it nice, and it doesn't have to be rice. You can even make a Honda Civic cool with the correct balance of performance as well as looks.

But i personally wouldn't upgrade a civic. I'd much rather work on a Supra or RX-7. Of course i dream about R34s or NSXs but since i'm still in highschool (8 more days!!) they're not really within my reach at the moment.

i'd take an R34 over an M3
