M3 or s2k

What are these people talking about more attention w/ the s2k. My M3 causes more attention than any gay honda could. It a BMW c'mon, no comparison. Also from personal experience the m3 is a much better performer. Ive raced about 4 s2k's and never lost. From stop to motion the m3 will kick the s2k's ass any day.

It's always tricky comparing cars - cuz usually it's like comparing apples and oranges.

The S2000 is a 2.0L convertible that can be had for $76,000 AUD whereas the E46 M3 is a 3.2L coupe that can be had for $150,000 AUD (not sure pricing of convertible).

In my opinion - both are excellent cars in their respective markets.

I don't know man. I do believe that anyone is entitled to their opinion, but this is one of those topics that has been beaten so badly to death, and that has classically created so much useless drama and fighting that I'm just sick of it. Just when one finally drops off the main page, another pops up in its place. It's like a digital Hydra. M3 vs S2000 M3 vs S2000 M3 vs S2000000000.

Can't people just accept that they are both great cars? Is it so hard to have an open mind about performance cars other than those from Germany? It sure seems so.
