I am selling my 325i convertible n I am located in Socal in the Riverside area and well here are the specs it is an 88"325i Cabrio,This is a great car and has always been dependable and reliable.
I have had no problem relying on this BMW for long drives.I purchased the car a couple months ago and the owner said it had recieved damage to the right rear wheel (the reason for the Salvage Title), a ding in the front bumper, missing valance and a driver’s seat that was broken. He had the wheel fixed. It has been a great commuter car ever since and it drives straight. The car has excellent acceleration and is a complete blast to drive. I bought this as a project car and am selling it because I have too many cars and I am running out of space in my front yard.
The problems –The top frame is in good shape and back window is clear and not faded with the exception of one latch. I have researched the replacement and the top is available online and it should cost, with labor, about $250 to replace or it can just be patched up or you can even go hardtop which was my original intention but time and space are in issure here. The brakes have been replaced, The A/C does not blow cold. I was told that it was low on Freon, but I never had it checked out could probably just need to be recharged.
The back seat bottom needs to be repaired or replaced. I have seen these on eBay for as little as $50 and they take about 5 minutes to change out. Also, when I got the car, the driver seat was damaged so I replaced it with a regular bmw seat (not Cabriolet) which is why it has seat covers. The seats are available in many junkyards or even sometimes on the forums but I have not bothered with changing it out since they seem pretty functional to my liking. I also just recently serviced the auto tranny so it shifts really smooth and drives even better.
I also replaced a new front lower valance and rear struts and front ones with new mounts, and shocks and a new battery. I also have a front bumper w/shocks to replace the dinged one and some spare lights that I'll throw in.
The good stuff – The exterior is in great shape as well as the interior and overall condition of the vehicle is excellent(see pics). The car has 256k miles on it, but it still runs strong and has great acceleration. Sound system is Pioneer AM/FM/Cassette with 12 Disc CD changer and remote. All windows work fine as well as seat heaters (driver side does not have heater until Cabriolet seat is replaced.
