what should I do with my Car

Hey Guys I need some help.


IM 17 and My car a 1993 325is , 5 speed with 153k mile on the clock keeps giving me problems. I knew when i bought the car last February with 148k on the clock, it would need some stuff done. Since i bought the car for 4700 ive spent a lot of money, in my eyes, on it. Right after I got it i had to put a new clutch kit in it (flywheel, pressure plate, clutch, and some other little parts) that ran me around 1K. THen the car was ok for a while. About 2 months ago it started not running as smoothly I took it to my mechanic and he said I need to get a new valve gasket for it. I did that my self. That didnt stop the misfire I had and I had to bring it back to my mechanic. It was with him and he had to do some tests to find out what it was. Then we discover that the ignition booster on cylinder 6 was bad. I had to replace it, that was like another 400 down the drain. THen when i was leaving the shop something didnt sound right with the car after i was about 3/4 of the way home. I finally reach my house and the car sounds like hell. I looked around under the hood and the fan was bent up underneath the radiator shroud. it basically didnt look good. So i had the mechanic come look at the car while it was at my house. He said THat from what he could see i would need a New Fan, fan clutch, and waterpump. He also said that I should drive it but get it towed to the shop. I said ok and paid the 80 dollars to get it towed. My mechanic calls me up today and qoutes me for what i need to fix the car. He qouted me around another 1k . It needs stuff like a new radiator, all the before mentioned stuff, new radiator piping and some other stuff.

Basically I'm really pissed and unsure of what to do. I was looking into getting like an 89-94 240sx, or a GSR Integra. THe only thing is that i really like Rear wheel drive and i like Euro cars. I'm not sure if i should fix the car and sell it, or part it out, or just try and get a beater for now and slowly work on the car. I just need some advice. And also how much do you think i could get for it in its current state? Thanks a lot. I just needed to vent.
