| Help! Car is stuck! I need to get it home! To get straight to the point, my radiator neck cracked and leaked coolant on the road. I stopped, pulled the broken plastic piece out, then reattached the hose with a clamp to the remaining plastic neck. I refilled with water, and it doesnt leak anymore. I still am overheating, so Im positive I have air bubbles in my cooling system. Im not trying to do a cheap fix on this, Im merely trying to get it home without towing. The hose is clamped securely, I just need to know how to get the air bubbles out. If I have to bleed the system in the parking lot I will, but Im not sure on how exactly to do this. Is there anything else I should be watching/warned of before going out in the pitch darkness and trying to get it home? The distance is about 12-15 miles. Any input/help is appreciated. Thanks in advance |
