wide body kits

what do you have to do to a car to install a wide body kit. what do you do so the fender isnt hanging over the tire. Is it something with the rims or the axle. i dunno.

about how to do it...

Then get a few thousand --- 5-8k together and go to your body shop after you find the kit....because the way it sounds your not doing the work yourself

You get wider wheels you ninny, like these guys said, except count on spending $15K all in all, for the kit, install, paint, and new wheels......not cheap

i know a thing or two about wide body.
first what is your buget?
if you have a lot then go for the gtr kit, is the best out there.
but NO YOU DONT HAVE TO PAY 15ks for it. 11-12k (installation included) if you can get a sponsership and you have a friend at a body shop.

if you "only" have 6ks to burn, then the best way is to coustmize one, you can design the kit yourself and they are going to make it for you, very good choice.

finally, get a Zeemax wide body kit, they are cheaper, but if you live in US (forget to read about your location) we have only one dealer, so is hard to get a good deal, but is about 3ks i think (not sure, go to www.zeemax.com is in english currency, 1025 pounds for e46 m3 and a little more for e36 which is about 2.5k) However, many people dont like that kit, said is too ricey, so i never broder to check on it's price in dollors.

one last thing, if you get the GTR kit, they dont fit too well (if you have a e46 m3 i am assuming) so make sure you go to a really good body shop, why save that little money on installtion when you spand so much on the kit right?

The GTR kit would take about 3 weeks or less to put on. (I know, but is a big build) It is the best kit out there for the m3 so save the money and get that one, trust me is worth the money. one more thing, if you get the GTR kit, get the carbon fiber one is lighter, but is a little more $$ then the fiber grass one but lighter means everything on a car. wouldnt want your car looking like a killer but runs like a dog right?

If you go for the coustmize one the only comes in fiber grass so is cheap but...you know the rest.
