Samson your paint looks so good. Is that the original paint or was it ever repainted?

i'm sorry but i think those are nasty, those taillights are made for people that have 318s and want to do something to their car. 318s are the new civic, they are a cheap way into a bmw and people who don't know wtf they are doing buy them to "soup up". if you where serious about modifying a car you would not pick a 318 or 325 as a base.

this is just my opinion, no harm intended, but if it where me i would just get the oem clear blinkers or even smoke blinkers. but oem style.

wow your a cool guy. BTW 325 93-95 is a much better base than a obd2 m3 for serious modifications.

how do you figure? 2.5 liter vs. 3.2, there are software programs that negate the need for obd1. also the factory hp figures for the 96 and up m3s is under rated. it is closer to 250+ hp and 250+ trq, based on the avg. 17% loss in drivetrain.

i'm not trying to knock anyone just stateing my opinion, come on do you think those taillights look good?!

first off OBD2 just sucks. There are many downsides to it. While sure it can be tuned, very few people can actually do it. Also there are many other things that will limit the modifications too. I mean looking at your mods in your sig, they appear to be pretty gay, "bms dtm wing, smoke turn signals all around, schnitzer pedals, ebrake handle, shift knob".

I'm with scottycs, I have a 318IS what are you trying to say. All I have to say is you have too much money and a big mouth and don't know what to do with either.

I have it because I am in college and curretnly paying for i myself is a huge expense $30,000 a year. There isn't much time to make that much a year if I am in school. So I need a new car sense the one I had before died. I loved Bimmers, and I wonder which one I could afford.

So seriously your opinion is the worst one I've ever heard. Especially when it comes to OBDII vs OBDI. Not saying OBDII's are bad but scottycs is right.

Mine is boston green too but I'm going to be repainting the entire car this summer. Maybe it'll look as good as yours after that.

Anyways back to the tail lights which was the original subject here. I think they have a clean look to them not like those altezza lights they sell for this car, so I bought them. I'll try to post pictures when I recieve and install them.

i can see that you are touchy on this subject as most guys are with inferior equiptment. i have said time and time again that i didn't mean any offense, and the only thing you can react to is an insult. just shows that you truly wish you had more to play with. for any enthusiast would see that the m version is the best platform for a performance car ie. suspension, brakes, and motor.

it makes me sad that you have to go and critisize my mods when i have had the car for only a few months. i, like many others here also paid for my car myself so if you are thinking that i am some spoiled little bastard sorry to tell you that you aren't the only one that works for his toys. so get a better exuse. and being in college doesn't mean a thing, so am i.

and i don't see that your car has the trickest mods scott. i personally don't care what you think about my car but if you are going to knock the dtm wing than i can say that you really don't have much taste.

one more thing, dispite my "gay mods" i could still walk all over you on the road. enjoy!

I'm sorry i have to do this, but i have to pull rank... Tylere36m3. you are wrong. Everyone else, you are right. And please, rookie tylere36m3, don't use the word "trickest" ever again when speaking about a BMW.
