| My friend is looking to buy a 1996 BMW 328i, manual tranny. He's already interested in one and he's planning on asking the owner a few questions. Can you guys help my friend out? What questions should he ask the owner to make sure he's buying a good BMW and not some peice of crap. THANKS guys!

| The main thing is to ask for the service records this shows if the owner really took care of the car or not. The rest is really up to the buyer to really look the car over well (check all the fenders, hood, trunk serial numbers) Drive it and listen. |

| definately have him take it to a reputable shop before he buys it, if the seller won't let you take it there or take it himself he's got something to hide. Aside from that just check all the basic stuff, carfax it, ask for records, check for overspray, leaking fluids, any strange sounds.
