The term was STARTED BY ASIANS. The first time it was used referring to motorized vehicles was back when Japanese motorcycles were making huge leaps in the sport bike arena. They were the original "rice rockets" or "crotch rockets".

It's completely different you jackass. Rice is a term that doesn't label a race as inferior. The "N-word" term is derogatory and condescending and should not be used. Although rap musicians use it freely and are Ok with the term, there is still a majority of black people/African Americans/people of color (take your pick... I don't know which is the right one to say nowadays). If it was white people who labeled the Asians as 'ricers' solely on the basis of their race, I don't think they'd be into the term as much as they are. To say that we're racist against Asians on this board is completely idiotic since a great percentage of members are, you guessed it, Asians.
