Re-trimming Interior Hey I have a 318i E36 and the leather interior is getting cracked due to the previous owner putting sheep skins on Does anyone from Brisbane know a good place to take my car in for a full re-trim (including door trims)? how much would i be looking at paying for a job like this? Also i was checking out the E36 M3 Vadar style front seats but most euro wreckers out my ways dont have them at all. I guess these seats would be fairly popular, I asked the guys at BMW how much and they qouted me $2G per seat! thats insane. Where would be a good place to pick the seats up from?

sport seats generally dont come up a whole lot, especially in leather. You can try marcus and rob at KMJ europarts, they are great on prices, have a look in the thread here. Brisbane Parts outlets honestly, if you really want the seats, you are probably going to have to call australia wide to find them. You are looking at on average anything from $700-$1000 a seat for retrimming/rebuilding, depends on size, materials, etc. Have to call around and see. If its just cracking up, id try some leather restorer on it. Ive had good results with leatherique, Leatherique but im not sure where you can get it from here.

Cheers man, It doesn't really bother me if they're leather or not as i can get them re-trimmed later on down the track. I was reading about KMJ europarts yesterday sounded pretty good because i live around them necks of the neighbour hood. I tried to look for it today but couldn't find them. But i didn't have their number so i think ill call first. I also just picked up a M3 front bar with fog lights in fairly good condtion from a place called AIIP in summners park. It was pretty cheap but has a few little scratches and a little bit of paint is coming off but nothing i can't fix. I was wondering if anyone knows of someone who works in a re-trimming shop that could give a decent price and a good job. Thanks once again Matt.
