Radar detectors?

Does any one know of any types of radar detectors that will work against our Aussie cops?

I looked in to this a while back, I've never tried it myself but I was assured the Valentine V1 would work. Apparrently at the time it was the best on the global market, I'm not sure now though, there's probably a new model. The V1 also had a stealth kit which meant you could hide a small LCD screen inside your rear view mirror and keep the actual unit completely out of sight. Pretty cool, but I never got around to getting one. You might find a Kiwi who might know, they're legal in NZ and I've been told the Kiwi police use the same gatsometer units as Aussie cops.

After more research, I found that it's also legal to sell and use radar detectors in WA. and nearly all radar detectors will work here, as our cops use k and ka band Hope this helps others out there wondering the same thing..

Valentine One works very well. Just dont use it anywhere but on the highway.

the V1 is very expensive, I ended up getting a micro fuzion it detects all bands world wide and takes two AA batteries that get charged when the cigarette lighter adapter is plugged in, only cost me $130.00

Becareful because the cheap ones give off a signal and cops are able to detect you using a radar detector detector ( What ever the fuck that is ). V1 doesnt give off a signal, it justs picks them up. BTW dont use it anywhere but the freeway, because it will be useless otherwise with all the interference from sliding doors and other various signals around.

Yeah my Fuzion unit it V2 undetectable all so, might keep my eye out for a cheap Valentine though. Thank for all the info guys.!
