Just letting you all know that Autobarn has helped me with alot of stuff.. i just ordered all my light through autobarn in runaway bay.. its the new shop right next to Harbour town.. on the top of the hill... not sure about other autobarn stores though... Got a friend who helped me with ordering it through the owner.. but i've been told they are happy to do it for anyone from the general public...

These engines are very hard to find. I dont know of any available at the moment in Australia that are a reasonable price. Cost to fit would be diffcult to quote as quite a bit of modification is required for this conversion. I could certainly try to source the parts for you. You can call me directly on 07 3276 7222, ask for jason.

Everything perfect fit.. no problems.. speak to the guys at autobarn they have a online catalog for euro cars.. even E36's ... i got my stuff and cost price as i know some ppl there.. you would have to ask your local retailer.. i'm not sure.. but it was cheap..

E36 parts

Hi,
This is my first post. Just gotten my 1997 3.18i two weeks ago. Unfortunately, my friend borrowed the car and got involved in an accident. Can someone recommend me a few reliable workshop specializing on BMW around St Lucia 4067 or Brisbane that is pretty reasonable on the costs. I intend to purchase the spare parts from one of the local suppliers but need a reliable workshop to carry out the repair works. One more question, can I import the spare parts into Australia and will these be taxed by the customs? Is this worthwhile to bring in the parts and find a workshop to do the repairs. Many thanks for your help.
