I raced a 95 Dodge Viper RT10

Stats on the Viper:

SC BMW M3 vs 95 Dodge Viper Rt

I was on my way home from picking up a movie, when I saw a red beast trailing about 50ft behind me. I took a left onto a street from the light and he followed. The road opened up into a two lane and he came up to my side and waved. I waved back and then he stomped it. I thought WTF, lets see how the M3 does against this one. He took a left onto a single lane street. I was right on him arse in 2nd at 4000rpms. Then he stomps it. I follow and he just could not get away. He shut it down at 120mph (I was in 4th). Then we hit lights and after the lights is a single lane up a hill with a few easy turns. He takes off slow and then stomps it and catches me in 3rd at 40mph, not good. I quickly down shift to second and hit it and the back end spins. I catch up by the end of 3rd and he is unable to get away again at the end of 4th (135mph). He shuts it down and pulls over. 1st thing he asks me is what do I have under the f**cking hood. I tell him and he says nice. We chat for a while and I show him my car featured in PBMW. He loved the car and said he had seen it a number of times in Auburn and always wanted to have a chat. I would love to race him from a stand still side by side. Maybe one day

350 at the wheels? Nice. What all do you have on it? I'm looking at putting an s/c on there. Which one do you have? And what other "speed" mods?

He will stomp you at the line, those vipers have crazy torque. I raced one a couple months ago, and like you i was consistantly right on his ass. We had an oppurtunity to start from like 15-20 mph, and he handed me my ass. But good story, it feels good to beat that american shite into the ground doesnt it?!!!
