Where to get Amsoil?

I use to get it at Joe's/GIJoes but they just went out of business and don't have any left.

I need it by next week so I can change my oil before my trip down to Santa Barabara.
Anyone knows of a local shop that sells amsoil and specifically 5W40 Euroblend?

Was going to order it online but need it in the next day or two. Might just have to pay to have it overnighted or 2-3 day shipped to me.

Yep I found some at Carquest.

I bought pretty much all that they had. They said they're not going to carry it anymore but it can be special ordered through them.

It's still cheaper to get it online via my account but was quicker to just pick it up in person this time.

I paid $92 for 9 quarts of Euro Blend 5W40

Nice, it sounds as if you might be ordering it next time from them directly. My oil is around $15/qt. Castrol 10W60 and I use 6. My receipt was around $80.00 and I bought a new drain plug. You want to replace the drain plug every change. Saved a bit of change being a BMW CCA member. Cheers!

I'm a cca member too.

You don't need to replace the drain plug. Just the washer but that comes with the filter. I get mine from BMW cause it's only $12-13. Too lazy to order online. :rofl Well I should say I always forget to order it so just swing by BMW instead.

I'm using a magnetic drain plug from UUC. Works great for me. Had a bit of metal shaving when I removed it a few days ago.

What castrol are you using that's $15/quart?

Here is a pic:

Kinda pricey I think, must be special oil. Only place I can buy it is special places like the dealer and my service shop. I could find someone online, sure, but when I want my parts I am already in Go mode.

I asked for a set of plugs the other day, just 6 of them for my car. I was thinking no more than $10 each. The plugs were over $30 each at the dealer. Discount is $25.00 and some change at the dealer. So I am online hustling up some bargains.

Talk about liquid gold!

I'll have to look into that sometime. So far so good with the amsoil though and we'll see how it does at 3k and 6k mark.
