Want to convert to 18 Button OBC

Hey,
I have a 7 button OBC in my car right now and I'm think about getting the 18 button one. Has anybody done this conversion? Do I need any special harnesses or anything else other than the 18 button OBC?

To the best of my knowledge you just plug the new one in.... could be wrong and it may depend on production date.

I thought there were a few more sensors that needed to be installed.... but I could also be wrong.

From what i have read this depends on model and production date of the car. for example i beleive Dan's 328 or in this case Hotsauce's m3 should just be unplug the stock obc and then install the 18button. but for models like my 318 i would need to install the required sensors.
