Hey guys,

After a long delay, I got back behind the wheel, instead of bars - although I'm tempted to put an order in for a Triumph Street Triple....

Bought an Alpinewhite III E39 535i - Eurotuned.com.au -> Solo's E39 BMW 535i - Hardtuned.net

Also became the Manager/Moderator of Eurotuned.com.au - the Euro car section of HardTuned.net. Bugger all Euro drivers on HT still... (HT is the new name for NissanSilvia.com after Loz decided to expand the market for the website).

Working over in Thailand these days so not home too often, just needed something respectable to drive around when I am home. So I will do some light mods to it, and enjoy it as is really.

just got my P's and my first car is an 84 323i E30

does anyone know roughly how much it would cost to respray an E30? and the best place to get it done?
my clear coat is starting to flake off the rear panel and the other panel is starting to fade.

hey dude.

Nice car choice, e30s are brilliant cars with heaps of potential. Basic suspension work will have you cornering with the best of them.

As for a respray, youre looking at thousands for a proper job, mine needs it (well both of them do ), but that is a far lower priority than just about everything else. And at a large percentage of the cars original cost, it's not really a justifiable expense at this stage.

On a side note:
Holy f*ck this place is dead
