Since so many people are from Germany, or around there in this section...what is the fastest any of you have been on the autobaun...lets here some stories for all of the Americans who have speed limits everywhere.

The fastest I have done on the Autobahn was 189 mph at night in my
Alpina B12. It is always nice to push her to the limit when the streets
are free and the weather is good.

That sounds like a shit ton of fun...the fastest I have ever been is 150 mph, but I'm sure we would have gone faster...no more road in a straight line to drive on though. I was in my buddies '02 Audi S4. If I were on the autobahn, I would like to break the 200mph barrier...not many people can say that they have done that and what a rush it would be.

My fastest speed on the Autobahn was 155mp/h (250km/h) in de speedlimiter with my 328i.

Fastest I ever driven was in a Porsche 928 S4. I hit the 295km/h with no problems

And maybe next year when my friend his BMW E36 350i is finished we are going to break the 300km/h bariër

295km/h.....damn....that is fast as hell. I wish we had the streets to do that kind of speed.

If u see this sign on Germans Autobahn u r very lucky

Fastest I ever driven was in a tuned Audi S2 Coupe on the way to the IAA 2005 in Frankfurt. We drove over the 280 km/h - legal -
Funny is when u pass a police car with this speed hehe

Sometimes u r an traffic block with 200 km/h - 220 km/h

I'm on the Autobahn in a couple of hours.

Going to a disco near the A31 (INDEX at Schüttorf)

I think we can make a video but I won't do 155mph because I have gueats in my car.

So maybe 220.......

My top speed I drove on the Autobahn was exactly 186mph (300 km/h). That was with my last car. It was an E36 M3 Evo with 380hp. With my new E46 M3 I drove 184mph 295km/h. But I want to get it over 186mph. I have to think about how!
