Best bang for buck Supercar in the world

I've been in love with the Corvette for about the last 15 years and have been toting them as the worlds most ultimate car- PERIOD.

Now I have proof. The lastest in Corvettes.
Corvette ZO6 428ci - 505bhp
0-60mph in 3.6secs, 1/4mile in 11.7.

Definitely a good performer for the money. As far as being "the world's most ultimate car", well hardly, but it is an affordable way to get decent performance for your dollar. Some people buy a car based on more than just numbers and the Corvette does not deliver in all respects, but at its price, I would not expect it to.

How much are they going for these days? Definatley not the best performer, doesn't have the prestige badging, but definatley up there with the best bang for your buck cars.

The new Z06 is a very nice car, I love it to death, one of the best all around cars in my book. At the end of the day the only thing that a "supercar" at 2-3 times the price offers over the vette is a fancy interior.

i'd probably have to bill the Z06 as a supercar. 500hp, 0-60 in under 4 sec, tops out near 200, over a g lateral grip. that's supercar territory, maybe not enzo or cgt territory but those are ultra-exotics.

The corvette is no supercar. Supercars are exclusive, the Z06 is not in any way. It's a hell of a good value from what I've heard, but at that price I would rather have an Elise.
